{"id":166,"date":"2009-12-17T20:04:17","date_gmt":"2009-12-17T13:04:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pawees.net\/?page_id=166"},"modified":"2014-12-16T12:40:03","modified_gmt":"2014-12-16T05:40:03","slug":"mission-statement","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pawees.net\/?page_id=166","title":{"rendered":"Mission Statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mission Statement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The mission of PAWEES is to dedicate to the advancement of science and technology of paddy &amp; water environmental disciplines in order to improve and rationalize sustainable paddy farming systems while protecting nature and environment, giving special attention to harmonization of nature, society and humans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives<\/strong><br \/>\nTo accomplish the mission defined as above, the main objectives of PAWEES are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stimulating the development of science and technology in the field of paddy and water environment engineering,<\/li>\n<li>Improving the knowledge on paddy farming ecosystem and its services,<\/li>\n<li>Developing technologies for and their applicability to the preservation and re-establishment of environmental balances,<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating the exchange of information on research and technology for sharing advanced knowledge on paddy and water environment engineering,<\/li>\n<li>Making concerted efforts under close collaboration for solving paddy and water environmental problems, and<\/li>\n<li>Performing any other activities that will help to develop Paddy and Water Environment Engineering and allied sciences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Activities<\/strong><br \/>\nTo achieve the objectives, several activities shall be developed by PAWEES.
